Drawing: Ink and Black & White on Paper.

The Baron's Castle was built in the late 19th century by engineer N. Dobichevsky, commissioned by landowner M. Podgorsky. At the bottom of the picture there are two winged creatures decorating the main entrance to the building. The image of the mansion is surrounded by flowers of mallow and periwinkle - the symbols of Ukraine, love for the native land, eternity, vitality, and they also intertwine with rosemary branches symbolizing pleasant memories, a kind of 'keepsake'. All these plants, as well as pearls, emphasize the significance of this mansion in Kiev architecture, its importance and originality.
